Serengeti Trading Company is our home. We build specialized rifle stocks. Each year, we incorporate a limited number of M1999 Montana actions into these stocks as production rifles. We live for hunting and what better vehicle for hunting in strange and exotic places. As our adventures expand, we'll share them. Three companies, one theme.
Serengeti Rifles
Serengeti Rifles builds four lines of rifles, all based on private-labeled M1999 Montana Actions. The actions are surface ground and polished above and below the stockline, engraved with our logo and then stocked in a high-grade ACRA-Bond laminate. The first line is the Serengeti AFRICAN™ Rifle, a concept rifle equipped with NECG masterpiece iron sights and 8-40 Talley QR rings and bases. For the Varmint hunter, we’ve conceived of the RED MIST™, a heavy barreled, specially stocked, long-range rifle. Lastly, and least in terms of size and mass, is the WALKABOUT™, a rifle designed to be “concise” for lack of better word. Short actions, Featherweight 22” contoured barrels and slim stocks bring a classic slim sporter to the field at an average of seven pounds. Serengeti Stockworks
Serengeti Stockworks recently purchased ACRA-Bond Laminates. We own the patents, the tooling and the inventory. This transaction made a lot of sense to us because we were running the company anyway and yet it needed more investment in tooling to reach its full potential. As many know, the ACRA-Bond process is unique because it can deliver a traditionally beautiful wood stock that incorporates all of the stability and strength of "plywood" laminates without the weight penalty. Composite stocks can be lighter than wood, and they won't typically dent, but beauty is not an attribute commonly associated with plastic. Click on over to Serengeti Stockworks to learn more.

Serengeti Safaris might begin as a storytelling venue. It may become a booking agent. The idea is to discover neat places to hunt, tell you about our experience, and maybe set up a hunt for people who are interested. Please have patience. We'll build it over time.
